Serena Hart is owned and operated by Mary Durkin, who relocated her business from London to Harpenden in 2006 to be nearer home. The shop is, in fact, named after her four children: Serena, Arthur, Harry, and Thomas.
In store and online, our aim is to bring you niche edits of beautiful ranges of homeware, gifts, accessories, and cards from much-loved brands and a growing number of small British and hyper-local artisan makers and creators.
We are also proud stockists of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and products, which adds another dimension to our business through the hosting of workshops and taking on of commissions for painted furniture projects.
